Reason Of The Suicide In Dasun Nishan

The post mortem examination of the suicidal actress Dasun Nishana was held at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital today (26).

This was led by the inquirer Ajith Wijesinghe, the Piliyandala Correspondent.

There, Dasun Nishan's mother, Lalitha Swarna Kumari Herath testified that her 29-year-old son had been married to a schoolteacher at a 13-year-old school dating from school.

She said that although they were married, her son did not come to her home.

She said that she had been harassed by the wife and the wife demanding that she be allowed to marry an actress later.

It was Dasun Nishan's mother who testified that she had refused to act as the actress had refused to marry her son.

Though the actress refused to marry his son, he had bothered to marry his wife and asked him to give the opportunity to marry the actress.

The wife of Dasun Nishan was summoned to the postmortem examination and it was decided that he had committed suicide after hiding his neck.

His father's career was a civil engineer by profession and he lives in Canada

At the age of 29, Dasun Nishan is an Information Technology graduate of the University of Colombo and has one brother.

His body has been taken to a private flower shop in Gampaha.
